Brakes Inspire Branding

The Challenge

Brakes Inspire was the 2nd annual conference in the company’s 5 year plan. The event was crucial in keeping the 350 strong Senior Management Team informed of progress to date and future plans for the business.

Brakes wanted to develop a brand for the event, based around ‘Inspire’ – the overarching theme for their internal communication strategy.

Creating the extraordinary

HGA were appointed to deliver this importance event, which included the development of conference branding, set visuals and support materials.

To coincide with their strategy a brand was developed with a graphical treatment that gave the impression of moving forward. This was kept on brand by using their colours and fonts and was built up of elements taken from the main company identity.

A number of illustrated set visuals were created, based on a traditional high street featuring many Brakes customers. The visuals formed the backdrop to the main stage and the market place which took the form of an outdoor market with individual food and drink stalls, surrounded by illustrated backdrops of typical high street businesses.

A full set of support and cascade materials were then developed, which included a delegate pack, name badges, event invitations, menus and thank you cards.
