Nationwide Annual Awards App

The Challenge

Nationwide’s Annual Awards is the most prestigious event in their calendar, bringing together nominated employees from across their entire business; from high-street branches, to their head office staff, on-the-road team and more.  Our brief was to deliver a creative and engaging platform to bring these separate groups together to build excitement, anticipation and a community of attendees before the awards evening itself.

Creating the extraordinary

We deployed a branded event app for Nationwide, which included a private social network for attendees to share their thoughts, comments and photos ahead of the evening that eventually formed part of the evenings proceedings.  Attendees could take part in polls and surveys to boost engagement but also so that organisers could make choices for the evening based on majority verdicts.

On the evening itself, the app achieved 94% user engagement and over 4,400 app vists, which far exceeded pre-determined targets and objectives set by Nationwide to measure app performance.

Support and client management throughout was seamless and we found the team extremely enjoyable to work with on something we hadn’t used before. The ability to download app statistic quickly, meant we could manage our stakeholders and provide measurement when needed, often at short notice. Overall the success of the event app was a reflection of all the hard work, commitment and support from the team.
