Travelodge Conference 2016

The Challenge

After the success of 2015, Travelodge challenged us with making their annual conference in 2016 even bigger and better, with more ‘wow’ mainstage moments and engaging breakouts.

Creating the extraordinary

Alongside the bespoke registration site and event app which were so well received the year before, we created a bespoke Travelodge reception desk to act as a flexible central point for plenary presentations. Throughout the day, this acted as a news desk, a quiz desk, and even a platform for the Travelodgical TV campaign puppets to make a cameo appearance from!

The breakout rooms hosted interactive training sessions, iPad code cracking exercises, Apprentice style pitch challenges and even a Family Fortunes inspired game show. HGA worked alongside presenters to develop all the content, providing full design, video and screen content, branding and collateral to support each of these sessions.

The evening saw the annual gala dinner and ‘Roomies’ awards, which we reinvigorated this year by presenting in the round, interspersed with fun colleague generated content, and finished with guests dancing the night away to the live band.
