AG Barr came to us for help translating an already highly successful televised campaign into an online format. It was essential that the core aspects of the campaign were not lost during this process and that AG Barr's extensive range of products were showcased to their full potential. Hinged on the idea of a drink for every occasion, the "Good Times" campaign was featured as a sponsor ad on The Hour, Scotland's flagship programme shown on STV. It was our job to carry the concept and its message across to The Hour's website and create a stand-alone platform.
We came up with two primary solutions. The first was to create a micro site drawing upon the original concept of a drink for every occasion. We and applied the Barr Flavours creative used in their televised ads, to the site in an animated form. The site was vibrant, fun, simple and functional. We also created animated flash banner ads to feature on The Hour's site, all of which lead the user to the microsite and again tied in with the original animation.
All of the solutions we put forward and implemented had a significant impact upon the amount to traffic driven to the site. AG Barr were more than happy with how we had managed to translate the original concept into a new, creative, fun and engaging format, which displayed the full range of products to their potential.
