A.G. BARR came to us with quite a challenge; to reposition Strathmore within a very competitive market, helping them to stand out from the crowd and bringing their new identity, pack design and slogan; "A source of clarity" to life. They wanted to translate this new concept from the supermarket shelves to the online world, specifically a website, without loosing the key aspects of the campaign. The site needed to raise awareness of the products in the range, and act as an information resource for consumers, trade and press.
With this in mind, we developed the site with a focus on the historic back-story and the origins of the spring. Animations explaining how Strathmore Spring Water started its life and the 50 year natural filtration process were developed, along with quick links to the water range and pack-shots of the various products available in the Strathmore Spring range.
We wanted to give users a sense of where Strathmore water came from, invoking a feeling of clarity and a sense of clearing, so a simple and clean design was used to echo this feeling. We worked with the branding agency to ensure the site was on brand and reflected all other promotional material. The launch of the site saw an increase of 157% in traffic.
