TPAS had undertaken an exercise to promote and rebrand their card literature for each of their departments and services that they offer. The previous cards were double-sided square flyers, which TPAS wanted to keep the style of. However, there was no overarching theme to link them all together. Therefore, the brief was to create a suite of literature that was obviously part of a family but could also stand alone as a flyer. It needed to look fresh and new, yet still communicate important information to members and new clients.
It was decided immediately that each flyer would follow the same layout template keeping the design consistent, but also a colour should be assigned in order to start building its own identity. Moving away from the previous creative style, a single strong image was used to represent the department/service supported with a simple strap line. Rather than going for a literal representative of the department or service a more sideways creative was produced.
The success of the rebrand has lead to the designs being rolled out to other aspects of TPAS's marketing materials. Roll up and pop up banners, websites, PowerPoint presentations and annual reports and even the TPAS's 2011 Annual Conference all continue to adopt the same creative.
