In Autumn 2010 we were asked to produce a series of events for UKAR, the holding company established to bring together the Government-owned businesses of Bradford & Bingley plc and Northern Rock (Asset Management) plc .
Together, the combined organisation supports around 900,000 customers with £80 billion of loans, employing some 2,400 colleagues at our main sites in West Yorkshire and the North-East, and there was a huge communication task to share the vision, mission, strategic objectives, values & behaviours, along with their priorities for 2011.
The tone of the events was crucial if staff were going to engage and feel part of the new culture moving forward. The event opened with a team Haka, followed by keynote presentations by the Senior Management Team. Interactive feedback sessions then followed and the day concluded with a presentation by motivational speaker Michael Finnegan.
Our Live Events Team delivered management events in Manchester and York and then a week long roadshow to all 2,500 staff. We were also tasked with inviting the staff and providing transportation to the venues. Overall the event was a huge success and the client - another happy customer.
