Getting to know Steve...
What’s your favourite film?
Point Break (the original of course), Gone in 60 Seconds, Skyfall, Iron Man, The Martian, Creed & some 80’s classics like Back to the Future, Rocky (all of them) & Home Alone.
What question do you get asked most often in your job?
Why is the printer not working? Seriously I should change my job title to Printer Support Manager.
What telly are you addicted to?
I've got a number of shows on the go at the moment, including Power, Ballers and Walking Dead! I'll probably get some stick from my colleagues for this, but I'm a big fan of Cold Feet.
Where’s the best place you’ve travelled to?
It's still Las Vegas. It doesn't matter where I go, nowhere tops the bright lights of Nevada!
What’s your favourite sport to watch or play?
Football to watch, golf to play. My annual golfing trip abroad with my mates is definitely the highlight in my calendar.
What’s the best soundtrack to a long car journey?
It would probably either be some of the biggest vocal house tunes from the last 20 years, or a big throwback to some 1980's cheese.
What’s the best thing about Manchester?
It's not the weather! It would have to be the atmosphere & the night life. Such a great city for a night out.
Tell us about your pet.
I have a staffie named Jake and as most staffie owners know they are all a little bit nuts. He has the funniest mannerisms & does some really stupid things, many of which result in expensive vet bills.
Sunday brunch or Sunday roast?
Sunday roast - obviously! I'm a big fan & I certainly don't limit it to a Sunday.
Which of HGA's values means the most to you?
'Challenge the Ordinary' It's my job to think differently, to ensure that everything we do is the most creative solution possible. So challenging the ordinary on a brief, solution or idea is a daily occurrence.
